Some of you may or may not know that I have been living in Taipei, Taiwan, since July of 2009.
I earn money by teaching English at a private cram school here in the city. There are a ton of them, and Taipei is not seeing any shortage of foreign English teachers any time soon!
I've been studying Mandarin the last two years as well.
Why am I here? I'm here in Taiwan because God has called me here. I am a Christian and am actually a part of a team of missionaries here. We all live in Ximen Ding (the movie and shopping district of Taipei), teach English, and study Mandarin. Our website is http://ximenloft.wordpress.com.
I love Taiwan and am here indefinitely until the next thing to which God calls me. I live life with a sense of adventure and am eternally grateful for every friend and loved one that has ever poured their life into mine.
